Light load.

Side shot of the USA Trains Soo Line reefer. Just one of 30+ USA Trains products dominating the rolling stock. The side-line shanty is scratch built from styrene with assorted Pola left-over parts.

The Rock

Like the prototype, the Rock Island blue was difficult to photograph. The USA Trains outside braced box car is lettered for the SSW rather than the RI. The covered hopper is an Aristo product. The ROCK is my HO railroad and is nice to have representatives in G scale.

Potatoes, ANY STYLE!

State of Maine boxcars from USA Trains can be seen in the small staging yard. The LGB State of Maine car usually completes a unit train. The third track (furthest back) is the turning track for the Y.

Fragile

USA Trains outside braced box car.

Originals

Two more of the original Ro Trains. The Southern Pacific and Santa Fe are join the State of Maine, B&O Sentinel, Northern Pacific and Great Northern from that original series. I regret never getting the Union Pacific. Most of these cares contained glued on railroad herald as opposed to the full paint available today.

The all steel Lackawanna and partial Wells Fargo box cars enter the combination four foot mountain and cat sleeping place. I always get a laugh as the train enters one end, and 1:1 scale cat flies out the other.

Yes, I do own rolling stock from other manufacturers. Here are two Aristo tank cars.

One Lump or Two?

Both the Domino Sugar and Jack Frost car are USA Trains.
